• The IOP program implements the ASAM criteria guideline of treatment to provide a short-term intensive treatment program staffed by professionals. We offer psycho educational groups focused on enhancing service recipient’s knowledge, skills and abilities on a variety of topics such as:

Substance Abuse illness management and medication management, substance abuse relapse, family education, community resources, health and wellness, and recreational activities

Our program will teach and help implement self-care, personal hygiene, along with positive social and interpersonal interactions and relationships.

This program typically provides no less than 9.0 program hours over a minimum of sixteen weeks. The groups meets at least three (3) times a week.

The Structured Program of Care Includes:

Services provided within our “Structured program of Care” include, but are not limited to:

1. Clinical Biopsychosocial Assessment and other evaluative tools will be used to initiate services and drive the goals, objectives and strategies of the Individualized Service Plan (ISP). A psychiatric assessment by a LMHP. will confirm SA Diagnosis and recommend medication therapy, if needed.

2. Development of a Comprehensive Individual Service Plan (ISP) to include regular updates of the service recipient’s and family’s needs, concerns, and preferences. The service recipient and their family will participate in the ISP and will receive a copy describing required elements to include their daily routine. This includes at least quarterly updates, when needed.

3. Service recipient, family, group counseling and therapy with a focus on substance use/abuse recovery education and illness management.

4. Psycho-educational and SA group activities that emphasize behavioral oriented skill teaching and focus on training and reinforcement of functional skills

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Our service recipients must demonstrate substance use or abuse as their primary disorder, medical necessity and/or a clinical need for this service arising from a condition due to substance, mental, behavioral, or emotional illness that results in significant functional impairments in major life activities.
